USES:
L-Ornithine-L-Aspartate and Pancreatin is used for Hepatic encephalopathy, indigestion, Inflammatory disease of the pancreas and other conditions.
L-ornithine- L-aspartate (LOLA), the salt of the natural amino acids ornithine and aspartate acts through the mechanism of substrate activation to detoxify ammonia. In the states of disease, tissue damage, organ insufficiency, excessive metabolic demand, growth, pregnancy, or urea cycle enzyme deficiencies, these amino acids need to be supplemented with the food. L-ornithine L-aspartate lowers blood ammonia levels and so may have beneficial effects in people with hepatic encephalopathy or help stop them developing it.
Pancreatin is a combination of digestive enzymes that are normally produced by the pancreas and are important for digesting fats, proteins, and sugars. Certain medical conditions such as cystic fibrosis, pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, or pancreas surgery may cause deficiency of these digestive enzymes.
