USES:
Cefoperazone is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic, effective in treating Pseudomonas
bacterial infections which are otherwise resistant to these antibiotics.
Sulbactam is a ß-lactamase inhibitor and is given in combination with ß-lactam antibiotics to inhibit
ß-lactamase, an enzyme produced by bacteria that destroys the antibiotics.
